Welcome to the world of the matter! In this post, we are going to familiarise with the matter. We will start learning some concepts and definitions about it. After that, you will have to do an activity about this part of the topic.

Although you don't know, everything around us is matter. We can find and classify the matter in three different groups or states depending on its characteristics:
- As a SOLID, the matter occupies space and has a volume. It has a concrete shape.
- As a LIQUID, the matter occupies space and has a volume. It adopts the shape of the object where it is.
- As a GAS, the matter occupies the space where it is and has a volume. It has not defined shape.
